Doing the Lord's work is a blessing and we encourage you to faithfully participate in our church's ministries with your prayers, presence, gifts, and service. We need your support to help this church grow. Take a look at what some of our members do to support our church.

United Methodist Women

The United Methodist Women are purposed to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Joining this group of committed women is a unique opportunity to move in harmony with other women.

United Methodist Men

United Methodist Men is a lively fellowship of men of all ages. Their primary ministry is the weekly Breakfast Club for homeless persons. The men's group also sponsors a prayer ministry of intercession. The men's retreat is an annual opportunity to fellowship and grow spiritually with hundreds of men from across Florida.

Generation NeXters

If you are between the ages of 20 and 40 this group is for you. We participate in social service projects and support the overall ministries of our church

Youth Group

Our youth group is open to all students grades 6-12. We welcome you to join us as we participate in several fun activities within our church and community. We occasionally have fundraisinq to fund our activities, including spring and summer camp.

Keen-Agers

We are comprised of FUMC members and friends ages 55 and older. Our primary purpose at FUMC of Miami is to provide a stimulating environment for those wanting Christian fellowship. Every month we take part in a host of activities including: tours, special programs, and guest speakers.

Prayer Chain

The Prayer Chain is a large group of volunteers who are always ready to pray for members and friends. Our prayer warriors will gladly keep your name and needs active as long as needed.

Chancel and Handbell Choir

The Chancel and Handbell Choirs provide music for the 11:00 A.M. worship services. The Chancel Choir sings year round in a wide range of styles. The Handbell Choir performs once a month from Sept. to May. While some music reading experience is a plus playing handbells, beginning ringers don't need any previous musical experience to ring successfully. Both choirs meet on Thursday nights for rehearsal.
